Breast
The Orlando Aesthetic Institute treats many conditions of the breast, which generally involve shape, position, and/or size. The most frequent and popular procedure involves the enlargement of the breast. Breast shape and position become a greater concern after childbirth, weight loss, or with advancing age. To create the ideal breast, a natural balance of volume, nipple position and shape must be achieved. This may include augmentation using implants, lifting, also known as Mastopexy, or reduction depending upon your needs or concerns.

Breast Augmentation
With breast augmentation we start by determining your chest dimensions and then look at what you hope to achieve. We then select a technique and an implant that is right for you. During your consultation, we take multiple measurements of your chest and breasts, which assist in the selection of the implant, that will provide the best result. We then give you a similar size implant to “try on” during the consultation. Implants can be placed either above or below the muscle. Placement will depend on your desired look, whether or not you have had previous breast surgeries, and the amount of breast tissue you have. Incisions may be placed inframammary (at the base of the breast), peri areolar (around the nipple), or transaxillary (under the arm pit). We will also discuss whether a saline or silicone gel implant best suits your needs.

Mastopexy and Reduction
Sometimes, the breast loses its shape and the nipples drift below the breast crease. If this is the case for you a lift or Mastopexy may be necessary. A breast implant alone does not solve this problem, breast implants and a lift (tightening of the skin) helps achieve the optimal shape. Our philosophy is to achieve the greatest improvement of shape and to leave the smallest scar possible. The surgeons at Orlando Aesthetic Institute offer a limited incision, which can be just around the nipple or can extend vertically in the shape of a lollipop. In the most extreme cases, the incision goes around the nipple, straight up and down, and in the breast crease. A breast lift and a breast reduction use the same method to improve the shape of the breast, the difference being, that with a breast reduction, tissue is removed in a very precise fashion.
